Sound Beach
Quiet, pleasant, country, residential town off the 25A business corridor, Jan-21-2003, 6:23 AM
Sound Beach has not been over developed to date and still offers residents and visitors alike a true feeling of country living with access within minutes to main roads and shopping centers along the 25A business corridor.

Tucked away from the 25A business corridor north, and land locked by the bluffs that over look the scenic Long Island Sound, Sound Beach is one of the few towns on Long Islands, North Shore Beach area offering mom and pop shopping, parks, historical sites, filled with winding roads, and properties that remind people of a picture from a Norman Rockwell cover page of yester-year.

Surrounding area residential development has increased the purchase price of a home in Sound Beach over the years, however it is still possible for younger families to find a home at a reasonable price.

Sound Beach has an all volunteer Fire Department, restaurants, service stations, deli, tavern, churches, and more! Like all beach area towns the enjoyment of summer fun in the sun, fishing, boating, bathing and even the option of taking in a romantic sun set is not out of the question.

If discovery is in your travel plans, plan to visit Sound Beach.
