Wireless Bobs has removed a banner after being warned it does not meet Town of Brookhaven codes!

Port Jefferson Fence has removed pennants attached to the telephone pole by his location and is redesigning his display after being warned his display is "not pleasing to the eye" and does not conform to Town of Brookhaven Codes!

Wild Birds of Mount Sinai has removed its portable sales sign after being warned it does not meet Town of Brookhaven Codes and is not pleasing to the eye!

Family Time Party Rental has removed duplicate signs in a preventive measure!

The CDM Chamber of Commerce has ended two of its five adopt A Highway" sites as a preventive measure rather than face fines for not meeting Town of Brookhaven Codes. The remaining three sites two with landscaping and directional signs for our visitors and the other Mt. Sinai High School Chestnut Street location will be reviewed by the Board of Directors at its next meeting.

Handlebars a popular restaurant in Mount Sinai, community supporter and CDM Chamber member received two "FINES" for the same portable sign on the same day! The sign offering a "Fathers Day" special, was not blocking the sidewalk but did not have the proper permits for a temporary sign!

Please take the "SIGN POLICE" serious!
