Ride For Life 2003

Ride For Life for the fifth year is planning another patient driven event, designed to fight ALS more commonly known as Lou Gehrigs Disease. Dubbed the Ride For Life, it is conducted by patients who are battling an untreatable, incurable and fatal disease with only their courage and determination.

Miller Place resident Mr. Chris Pendergast, ALS patient, long time community supporter and friend of the chamber is leading the way to find a cure once again.

Starting on May 10, 2003 in East Hampton through Suffolk County, Nassau and by May 18, 2003 will have made their way to Cadman Plaza raising money needed for ALS research and needed patient services. Ending up in Yankee Stadium the home field of Lou Gehrig ending the walk.
