Help Stop Sign Pollution
Town of Brookhaven & Local Civics working on beautification 2003, Nov-11-2003, 8:10 PM
The CDM Chamber of Commerce reminds all members that you can properly advertise your business 24/7 along the 25A business districts.
"Personalized Banners" approved by the local civics in agreement with the chamber, Verizon, and L.I.P.A., presented a unified and beautified 25A business district to all residents and visitors alike. The program has eliminated a vast amount of un-uniformed paper signs attached to poles along our road ways. To note: the program also creates a safer working environment for all line men and women!

Town of Brookhaven Investigator Mr. Pat Campbell will visit many business people asking for their assistance by removing sandwich signs from walk ways, tighten up hanging banners, and remove torn, ripped and unsafely secured signage along our business district. Mr. Campbell in his conversation with Michael Poveromo, President of the chamber, noted: Business people will be given notice of violations and the opportunity to clean, repair or remove before further actions would be taken! He also noted all business people can call him direct at 451-6500 for assistance and any questions.
