CDM Chamber of Commerce new Director of Membership
Board of Directors welcomes new CDM Membership Director, Oct-07-2004, 8:20 PM
Ms. Louise Timms, Bank of Smithtown- Rocky Point Branch accepted the volunteer position of Director of Membership for the CDM Chamber of Commerce. Louise has already started in her new position as she plans to meet increase the value of membership for the 2005 season.

Louise is sitting on a committee headed by Co-Chair CDM Exe. Director Michael Poveromo and Chairperson Educator Ms. Susan Wilson on a new program being presented later this fall in the Rocky Point school District known as Long Island Works. The Long Island Works Coalition is Long Island's first comprehensive effort to forge collaborative working relationships between employers and the educational community. It is an inclusive coalition that brings together business people, government officials, educators on all levels, parents and students. It will be aimed exclusively at the educational development and training of Long Island's student population in order to produce a workforce that has the skills that businesses need and value
