| Wireless Bob's and AT&T will be hosting a Blackberry event at our Miller Place Location, 691 Route 25A. They will be raffling off a Blackberry, and a one hundred dollar Visa Card to be used towards Blackberry services. There will be reps from AT&T and Blackberry available on site to answer questions between 11:00am and 4:00pm. The CDM Chamber & Long Island Blues Society 17th Annual Music & Arts Festival at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai, now is staged to be presented Saturday/Sunday September 15th & 16th, 2007 "RAIN OR SHINE" from 10AM to 6PM. Average 2 day attendance is over 8000 people!
A great family fun day at the beach, all day music, festival foods, games, arts & crafts, local organizational & business information booths, fire trucks and much more!

event is to raise money for Ms. Rita Sanford she
is a young student that attends Rocky Point Middle
School who has recently diagnosed with leukemia.
She is currently
undergoing intense treatment for this disease,
which has been extremely difficult for her and the
entire Sanford family.

Rocky Point Historical Society- Open Meeting-
March 8th |

The Rocky Point Historical
President Mr. Ken Blinn has placed on his Thursday, March 8,
2007 meeting agenda an open invitation to the community to
attend, hear, and ask questions about how; historical display,
and the arts play a large role in a downtown business districts
areas revitalization. Attendees will also hear about the Rocky
Point Historical Societies efforts to find, and develop a
historical community center in the Downtown Rocky Point business
district. The center would become the home of the Rocky Point
and Sound Beach historical treasures that have been in storage
for to many years. The history of the community now in storage
would become available for educational purposes for our
children, resident and visitors to our area, and if a building
is acquired provide a center for community meetings, and
economic development for all.
Making a presentation, and available
to answer questions on March 8TH, explaining the efforts and
progress being made in
Suffolk County Downtown Revitalization; and how history
and the arts are one of the key element in planning for the
future will be Ms. Carolyn Fahey. Carolyn is the Eastern
district committee leaders for the
Suffolk County Downtown Revitalization's Citizens
Advisory Panel.
